The power test is used to test whether your power adapter can meet the maximum power requirements.
If you are using accessories such as M7 M8, please connect the accessories to the control board before testing.
The principle of the power test is: try to turn on all accessories, lock all stepper motors, and output full power to the laser. The device will monitor whether there is a voltage drop. If your power supply triggers the over-power protection, your power supply will briefly shut down the output (about 1 second), the voltage drop will be detected, and the test results will be displayed on the software.
If you are using accessories such as M7 M8, please connect the accessories to the control board before testing.
Open the troubleshooting interface and select Power Test.
Click the Start Test button to start the test.
The result displayed by the test is the lowest voltage output by your power adapter during this test.
This voltage should not be lower than the nominal voltage of the power adapter - 1V. For example, if you have a 24V power adapter, your test result should not be lower than 23V.
First, remove all accessories from the control board to eliminate any short circuits caused by accessories. You need to remove the laser, M7 solenoid valve, M8 solenoid valve, XYZA axis stepper motors, and so on.
Then, in the troubleshooting center, look for the value of DC Voltage,This value should match the output voltage indicated on your power adapter, with a normal deviation of ±1V.
Your power adapter may be faulty. If you have a multimeter, measure the output voltage of the power adapter to check if it's normal. If you don't have a multimeter, you can find a second power source, typically on a router, usually rated at 12V. If your device requires 24V, you can use a 12V power adapter for testing. This may not power your E80 laser module but should be enough to make the stepper motors run. If the second power source shows the correct voltage onDC Voltage,it means your primary power source is indeed faulty.
No, the power test is a short-term test, and passing a short-term test does not mean that your power adapter can work stably for a long time.
When your device has the following behaviors, it often means that there is a problem with your power adapter
If you find that your power adapter has long-term stability problems, please do the following:

We need the following proofs:
If you have connected non-NEJE official accessories to the M7 M8, please remove them before performing the power test because we have no way of knowing the current consumption of such devices. Such devices may require additional current consumption to work, causing the power adapter to trigger overcurrent protection. In this case, you will need to purchase a power adapter with a larger current at your own expense.
