¶ What is Control Board?
The control board is the circuit board that controls the operation of the device and is installed in your NEJE device.

¶ Control Board Version
Control boards are regularly updated to fix issues and add new features.
The version number is usually displayed on the front of the board.
The image shows a NEJE 5 control board, version 2.0.0 (production batch 2442)
The image below shows a NEJE 5 Max control board, version 2.0.1 (production batch 2449)
You can also check your control board version on the NEJE software troubleshooting center.
The image below shows your control board version is v1.3.1 (production batch cannot be checked in the software).
¶ Control Board Compatibility
NEJE 5 control boards with hardware version v2.0.0 or higher can be configured as the following models:
- NEJE 3
- NEJE 3 Plus
- NEJE 5
- NEJE 5 Plus
The NEJE 5 control board is also compatible with NEJE 1/2/2S series devices. You can purchase just the mainboard to upgrade your older NEJE devices.
NEJE Max 5 control boards with hardware version v2.0.0 or higher can be configured as the following models:
- NEJE 3 Max
- NEJE 3 Max V2
- NEJE Max 4
- NEJE Max 5
- NEJE Max 5C
- NEJE Max 4 V2
The NEJE Max 5 control board is also compatible with NEJE 1/2/2S Max series. You can purchase just the mainboard to upgrade your older NEJE devices.
